Sheldon 4 DC” was a campaign as performance piece launched during the election cycle of 2016.  It served as a real-issues campaign for the fictitious position of Minister of Culture of the District of Columbia.  The campaign included kick-off events, public forums, rallies and a whistle-stop tour, garnering over 50,000 impressions in its lifetime.  The momentum of the campaign collided with the rallying around 411 NY Ave and has manifested in the Artist Union, an arts advocacy group of solution-focused artists engaged in policy development in the District of Columbia.
